Last month we delivered the exciting news that our Training team had successfully been awarded PMI Registered Education Provider status. This month we’d like to offer our congratulations to our team member Andy Hiles, who is now a licensed Professional Scrum Trainer (PST) with Scrum.org.
Scrum.org puts all potential PSTs through a rigorous assessment process, which Andy completed successfully by demonstrating his expertise in Scrum, through extensive experience in applying, leading, teaching, and coaching it.
It’s a fantastic achievement - well done Andy from the Radtac team!
Who are Scrum.org?
Scrum.org “provides comprehensive training, assessments and certifications to improve the profession of software delivery. Throughout the world, our solutions and community of Professional Scrum Trainers empower people and organisations to achieve agility through Scrum. Ken Schwaber, the co-creator of Scrum, who founded Scrum.org in 2009 as a global organisation, dedicating himself to improving the profession of software delivery by reducing the gaps, so the work and work products are dependable.”
We continue with the good news, by announcing that Andy’s PST license allows Radtac to introduce a new course to our training portfolio - Professional Scrum Master.
The 2-day course covers the principles and (empirical) process theory underpinning the Scrum framework, and the role of the Scrum Master within it. The course includes a combination of instruction and team-based exercises, and teaches what is at the heart of the Scrum and Agile movement.
If you wish to validate and certify your understanding of Scrum practices and values, Scrum.org Professional Scrum Master (PSM) assessments will provide you with an industry recognised certificate.
Unlike other certifications, Professional Scrum certification is forever. By successfully passing the Scrum.org assessment, you are granted certification and a website listing meaning you won't need to retest your proven knowledge or pay additional subscription fees to retain your certification.
As all PSTs use the official Scrum.org curriculum, you are guaranteed a consistent message and access to training materials that have been collaboratively created and maintained by the Scrum.org community of Scrum experts and founder Ken Schwaber. This not only ensures information and materials used are in line with what’s happening in software development organisations, but will always be up-to-date with the latest practices.
