Will Agile Kill Project Management? Tuesday 6th Oct 10:15 Masterclass session by Peter Measey and Darren Wilmshurst

Agile is often easy to understand but difficult to implement, hard to master and mind boggling when trying to scale! This is because many organisations start implementing Agile in a cultural context that is mostly non-Agile.

This typically creates significant number of tensions and frictions that the teams adopting Agile have to deal with, more than not with project management and other key organisational structures.

Darren and Pete will discuss why implement Agile, scaling from single team to multiple teams and some less obvious deep seated challenges to change in all organisations.

Apart from Darren’s and Pete’s session, there are many other talks you might find interesting. To name just a few:

  • ‘Developing Project Leadership’
  • ‘Better planning makes better projects’
  • ‘The biggest risks to project success are not what you might reasonably expect’
  • ...and many more see the programme

The exhibition space is split between different zones such as the Case Studies & Expertise zone, the Masterclass zone, the Learning & Professional Development zone, the Solutions & Expertise zone. We’ll be in the Masterclass zone, so make sure you stop by.

You don’t need to pre-book your sessions, just pop in and try to grab a seat. Whether you want to come by yourself or have your team join you, it’s said there is going to be something for everyone.

Project Challenge recommend that you pre-register for free so that you can stay informed on latest updates.

So don’t forget: October 6th, 10:15, Masterclass zone - that’s where you can meet Pete and Darren. Come say Hi and stick around if you want to see some of the other sessions. See you there!
