On July 17th, Radtac turned 17. As you can imagine, this was a reason to celebrate for the whole Radtac family. And beyond the celebration side of our birthday, it was the perfect occasion to sit down and look at what we've achieved in these 17 years. And of course to eat some delicious cake made by our lovely colleague, Alison.
First of all, let us say a big Thank you to all of you who have been by our side as customers, partners, friends, colleagues. None of our achievements would have been possible without you.
The last 17 years have been a constant opportunity for us to grow beside you. Since we started the company back in 1998, we've expanded our team from two employees to 20 employees and 50+ associates. We had the chance to learn and improve, to 'inspect and adapt', which brought us to where we are today.
Take a look at the timeline below to see a few highlights from our milestones. Looking back, we have come to the conclusion that it's quite hard to be selective...
Whether it was the world's largest Agile Transformation at BA, the UK's first Public Sector Agile Implementation, building the largest portfolio of Agile Training, standing by the side of Stuart Weston and William Hill when they won the 'Best Use of Agile in the Private Sector' prize at the UK Agile Awards, launching our Culture and Talent capabilites, or opening each of our offices - we are grateful for every one of these achievements.
Apart from the milestones shown in the picture, there are other moments which we'd like to remember. For example, all the conferences and events we have taken part in - Project Challenge and the Agile Business Conference to name just a couple. Or the launch of our Agile Community Events and Agile smartphone apps in 2014. And the list could go on just like this.
Radtac continues to focus on the wider community in which it operates. We have supported Raspberry Pi for schools, as well as recently donated to the Nepalese relief appeal. As part of our community focus, we have also selected our Charity of the Year, Shelter, to assist them in their work against bad housing and homelessness.
It's been a terrific journey which doesn't stop here. We look forward to continuing our relationship with you and discovering together what the future holds.
