Expanding our British roots into the US: Radtac launches office in the US
‘Radtac’ - if there’s an American way to say it, then please imagine it now. Why? Well, you might need it.
Because we’ve always loved our American cousins, we’ve decided there’s no better way of showing that, than by effectively marching in there. Ok, what we actually mean is by expanding across the pond.
You’ve read that right. As of now (well, actually a little while ago, but we’ve been busy debating ‘color’ and ‘colour’, ‘organisation’ and ‘organization’), British roots have extended to the United States of America.
At the moment, you can find us in the tech hotbed that is Silicon Valley, California, with our office located near San Francisco. Come say Hello if you’re around - we’ll treat you to some tea!
Aside from tea, we can offer you all the services that you’ve come to love in the UK. Our Training & Education, Coaching & Consulting, Teams & Practitioners, and Visualisation services are all available for our American friends. What’s more, you’ll get the same level of quality, expertise and passion we’ve always offered on British ground and internationally as a matter of fact.
Do we stop at Silicon Valley? Nope. Nothing can stop us! In fact, you can find us in New York City, Denver, Dallas, or anywhere in between. We’re happy to travel and we’ve got a fleet of people in the Radtac family who will fly in to work with you quicker than you can say ‘awesome’.
Our decision to expand was based on the fact that we’ve had so much growing interest from the US, and we were excited about the opportunity to share our intercontinental passion for Agile. Well that and the fact that we found an amazing person to lead Radtac in the US.
The face of Radtac in the US
Dear readers, please (virtually) meet Laura M. Powers, Radtac’s US CEO.
Laura is a highly active and extremely enthusiastic member of the international Agile community, a conference speaker and ‘LEGO® Serious Play® geek’ - in her words.
She’s got 25 years of product development, marketing and sales experience at Hewlett Packard, Sales.com, and eBay, as well as several more or less known start-ups.
Laura holds a BS and an MS in mechanical engineering from Virginia Tech and has been involved in the design of aircraft engines, diapers, electric cars, as well as software systems. To top it off, she is also a certified trainer of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP).
One of her biggest passions lies about the magic, mayhem and unbelievable value produced by high performing teams. She helps teams create extraordinary results and exponential success while experiencing fun & joy with Agile & serious games.
Laura holds a number of certifications that make her one of the best people you can work with in the US - Certified Scrum Professional, Certified ScrumMaster, Certified Scrum Product Owner, Certified Trainer of Training from the Back of the Room, Certified Trainer of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and Certified Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming.
Did we say enough to convince you why we chose her to lead Radtac in North America?
So… what’s next?
As you would expect with anything like this, our expansion into the USA means a few exciting changes.
You’ll hear us talk more about events happening in the US, you’ll see more of us at those events, and you’ll start hearing about our services offered locally.
Our US part of the business, Laura, has been reported already for being responsible for increasing the country’s tea consumption drastically. We’re still trying to make a case for a milky PG Tips - she’ll see what’s good in the end.
Expect to see a confused bunch of S’s and Z’s. Oh yes, and be prepared to hear us saying ‘awesome’ all the time. It will be AWESOME, trust us!
For any US enquiries you can contact Laura on her email. firstname.lastname@example.org
