In May, Radtac attended the first SAFe Leadership Retreat in Crieff, Scotland. In previous blog posts, we shared with you some insights from the SAFe Leadership Retreat and about Scaling Agile as part of the topics discussed within the retreat. In this post, we will have a closer look at courses around SAFe.
One of the Open Space sessions looked at development of SAFe education pathways reviewing existing courses and options for further courses. Radtac is an integral part of the SAFe community and provides a number of entry points into the Scaled Agile Framework:
- SAFe for Leaders (Certified SAFe Agilist)
- SAFe for Teams (Certified SAFe Practitioner)
- SAFe Introduction.
SAFe for Leaders
The SAFe for Leaders course teaches the Lean-Agile Principles and practices of SAFe. You’ll learn how to execute and release value through Agile Release Trains, how to build an Agile Portfolio, and how to lead a Lean-Agile enterprise.
Attendees typically include executives, managers, consultants, Lean-Agile Leaders, and Agile change agents.
SAFe for Teams
SAFe for Teams goes well beyond Scrum. It teaches Lean thinking tools, roles, processes, and the software engineering practices necessary to achieve the code quality you need to scale Scrum to your enterprise business context.
SAFe Introduction is intended for the sole purpose of promoting adoption and use of the Scaled Agile Framework®. It is aimed at change agents within organisations who want an one to two hour overview of the framework. Please contact Darren if you are interested in a SAFe introduction.
We hope you enjoyed this little insight from the SAFe leadership retreat. We for sure enjoyed being there, especially because we extended our knowledge on this topic and can’t wait to pass it on to you.
